Some of the men in neighbouring Mbete haven’t got a whole lot to do with their time. One of the voluntary groups changed that. Or at least gave them an option. They created a little park and everyone can now go and play board games. How about some kalaha/mancala ingeniously placed “inside” an old wooden boat or a game of checkers? It looks good and now that the rainy season is over we expect a whole lot of time will be spend here in the shadow with brains crunching over the next clever move .
