So we are just about ready with a video from Zambia. This is a video to help get more young people with the Adventure portion of the project (the part to finance the operation of the school), but that gives you simultaneously an insight into the area down there. Especially video 2 shows clips from the village of projects we've made six of the date.

Again this year was held Eventure day - and it was another success!
The day was this year held in slightly smaller surroundings and with a focus on comfort and get-together for the volunteers in Eventure - unlike last year where the day went into celebration and Eventure was set mark on the Copenhagen party maps with a bang of a collection celebration .... And yet - but more on that a little further down.
Eventure day was assigned to Cafe Retro who have donated money for Project Zambia, where we met early in the afternoon to hear stories from the warm countries of the former and current volunteers and get an update from Thomas on the development down to the plot. Interesting - it can read about here in general. The day ended with a quiz about Zambia and all the wonderful people who are part of the project. Julie and Glenn had of course their own category.
Afrovaganza
Then there was beer in it, along with Afrovaganza which Eventure this year had chosen to team up with in relation to the collection of money. Afrovaganza is one big party, with the clear objective: Collect money for Africa. What we did we! Eventure accounted for wardrobe and helped clean up afterwards - for the tidy sum of 10,000 lovely crowns, which will go to Project Zambia.
Thanks to Afrovaganza for support and a good party! And a big thanks must also go to the Mille and Per, who took a long stint in the wardrobe for the project! Thank you: o)
All in all a very nice day and with more dollars in the box to the project. Thanks to everyone who came and to the rest of you - see you next year!
There is beginning to form a group - do you want to help plan Eventure Day 2013, which we dare laws are a bang again - please write to forening@eventure.dk!
Read about Afrovaganza and see photos here .
For days we had made a flyer that was handed out, it takes you here . Send the love to continue, or print it and put it in your school, work, sports, favorite cafe / bar etc.

Lafarge Cement Zambia PLC donates cement
As you all kan imagine of it takes a lot of cement to build Eventure Village. The first picture shows how the multi-purpose arena is Progressing. It bliver one of a kind in Northern Zambia.
Cement is not cheap, though. Luckily Lafarge Cement Zambia PLC just meddelat at de are so pleased with Project Zambia, at de vil donate a number of bags for building the school. As seen in the second picture the school boys sleeping quarterback også taking shape. We could not ask for a better start for this part of the project ![]()

Support for Project Zambia - before you go home.
There are several ways to support Zambia on, inter alia, as you are now on the way down and lend a hand with the project. Another way you can help to support Project Zambia is to find others who will support.
As an example, some of the volunteers before they went to Zambia, was around in their local area to hear different businesses, shops and businesses if they had the opportunity to sponsor something for the project.
What they did was to print the project description from the website and go to the local timber merchant. Here they presented themselves and gave a brief about the project, gave the project description and agreed that they should talk to you in a few days. This resulted in the XL-barley sponsored a lot of screws they could get by.
Then you have someone in your area that you think would be interested in making a contribution to a good project, so you may want. do the same.
Things that may be relevant to add to the project, could be; drinking bottles, socks, work clothes for craftsmen, screws, bits, work gloves, empty sticks, duct tape, paint brushes, notebooks, pens, possibly, different medicines to treat stomach upset, pain etc. and dressing equipment as plasters and antiseptic creams.
Something that is also an idea that is going around to friends and family and hear whether they will donate, old glasses / sunglasses and watches, buksebælter, discarded mobile phones, socks, t-shirts, caps etc. for local workers.
