You simply won't believe how many man hours and money we have chosen to spend on the Gymnordic sports arena.
A fair etimate is that it will end up costing DKK 200.000 (DKK 90.000 sponsered by Gymnordic).
See some of the first pictures below. Why do we choose to spend this much money on this sports site?
Because it is completely essential to the school to have good sports facilities, and with the Gymnordic sports arena that will be the case.
Furthermore, we have a dream of getting a light system installed so the facilities can be used at night. This will then provide a much needed alternative to drinking at night for the teenagers and adults in the area. We can't explain how big a benefit this will be for the local community.
However, we do not hae the money for this light system. We estimate a total cost of DKK 100.000. Any ideas out there to how we can raise this money, or can you help? Write us on forening@eventure.dk .

The latest community project was in Katoto. The village is located north of the camp and kill about 80-130 indbyggere. Group 4 besluttet focus on health and the idea about a shower and a water tap came to life. This way the locals don't have to collect water all the way down from the lake and they can have a private shower instead of some quick washing by the lake.
A small dam was made in a creek nearby and the clean water is led to the shower and tap in a pvc pipe. The women of the village were truly happy about the result and gave the girls from group 4 some rice as a token of their appreciation. Katoto is the only village in a radius of 18 km with a shower and tap water.

Some of the but in Neighbouring Mbete Have not got a whole lot to do with sin hours. One of the frivillige groups changed that. Or the least gave them an option. They created a little park and everyone kan now go and play board games. How about some mancala / mancala ingeniously placed "inside" an old wooden boat or a game of checkers? It looks good and now att rainy season is over we expect a whole lot of time bliver spend here in the shadow with brains crunching over the next clever move.

One of the latest additions of buildings on the camp site is this little "hut". It's new toilets located next to hvor school bliver. The pumps operating on solar energy supplies water from the lake til cisterns. If you feel like trying yourself - go ahead! They are all fully operational ![]()

Part 11
After a week we went to Lusaka to get Glenns parents and one of their two couples sharing. Before removing did we just buy new solar panels and a large diesel engine for our new boat. So was it otherwise on a week's holiday in Zambia and although the distances are large (relative to Dk), so it was cool to see what Zambia include can offer. We were a walk in the Kafue National Park and see the animals. We started to bump into a group of african wild dogs, which are some of the rarest animals to see. Then it went away with elephants galore, zebras, all kinds of deer, amazing birds, etc. Unfortunately, saved the lions for us, but you can not determine where they should be on safari .. Practice .. We also met Sebastian out there (Jesper Klein's son), who were out filming elephants for a new program. The kids know him, of course, not in appearance, but when I told him it was he who sings all the songs on one of their favorite CDs, so they appear it was kind of fun ..
After Kafue we spent a few days driving to get on to Mutinando - the most amazing natural area I've ever seen. It is rocky hills that stretch as far as the eye can see. Glenns parents had a cottage 2 canopied beds and a clear view of the hills. I think they were a little anxious to see how it would be, but it was quite an experience. At 6 o'clock in the morning at sunrise came the waiter with two coffee it was shown life! We had kids with down on a river with a small waterfall. They got their wings and came in at waterfall start and swam with the current down the river. It took a little effort, but they were very proud when they came up
Otherwise stood on the 4 hour walk in the mountains and relax in front of the fire in the evening with a cold or two.
Hårdt, men dejligt..
