Northern Star Academy will open January 2014. BUT – we can’t wait.
Therefore we have started NSA Sports Academy which currently runs four times a week and managed by two guys from DBU in Denmark.
Together we are making a difference trough Project Zambia – Let’s keep doing that!

This might not look like much. But it is!
The pictures show the first work on the main building for the Northern Star Academy.
The very heart of Project Zambia is the school, and it is therefore a big joy for everyone involved in the project that we now finally have started the construction of the main building for the school.
We will throughout first half 2013 update you on the progress of this building.
On the first picture, the building you see in the background is the dormitories.

In the news section you can read a lot more about one of the latest additions to Eventure Village. A sewing Club! This project helps and educate the ladies of the nearby villages.

Sometimes we can’t believe that two years has passed since we broke ground.
But when we recall that it was just a complete empty piece of land when we arrived, we can’t believe how far we have come!

Before going on the boat trip up the Lake Tanganyika the most recent of the adventure groups worked in neighboring Mbete. They repaired the swing and made improvements on game tables and football pitch. Afterwards a very successful football tournament was being held. Enjoy the quick review of some fantastic experiences.

Here are some of the latest additions to Eventure Village. A new fireplace has been built and will be really useful in the rainy season. Also, a lot of dorm beds for the 50 pupils are being built and there is now a huge chicken house that will keep the chickens safe from bigger animals. Moses are using the new roof on the boat for some fishing.

Afraid of wet feet in the rainy season? You no longer have to worry. There is now being built little pathways around the area. We have some news on the water as well. On the boat you can see some changes. The solid roof can hold a lot of goods as well as persons (if you don’t prefer the shadow under it instead), which means the boat is more adequate for boat safaris.
Also, we have some mixed pictures from life and work at Lake Tanganyika. Notice the newest installed solar panel. All energy is now being covered by the solar cells. Eventure Village is 100 % environmentally friendly ;-)
